I genuinely enjoy meeting people from all different walks of life. I primarily work with adults who may be experiencing stress, anxiety, depressive symptoms, adjusting to difficult life changes, and self-esteem/self-worth issues.
I received a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of Northern Iowa in 2019 and have been practicing in the Iowa City area since.
Something unique about me is that I am native to Lithuania (born and raised there) and have a deep understanding about the struggles of major life changes and how it may affect one’s mental health.
I’m also a new mom and have gained much appreciation for the joys and challenges parents go through when raising a child. As someone who lives in a farming family myself, I also connect with people with a farming background, who often may not see themselves in a therapy room.
I believe that having a diverse background is an asset I bring to the counseling office that allows me to appreciate the beautiful uniqueness in my clients.
